Shipping Policy
Shipping Methods
We partner with PostNL to ensure your orders are delivered safely and efficiently. Once your order has been dispatched, it is typically delivered the following day within the Netherlands. You will receive an automated email with a Track & Trace code to monitor your shipment's progress.
Currently, we ship to the Netherlands & Belgium. If you would like to request a delivery outside of these countries, please contact our customer service team for a custom quote.
Shipping Rates
Please note that shipping rates may vary. For standard parcels, the following rates apply:
- The Netherlands: €6.95
- Belgium: calculated at checkout
Important note: For oversized or fragile items (such as large furniture or delicate mirrors), higher shipping rates may apply based on current PostNL freight tariffs. Some items are marked as "Pick-up Only" due to their size or fragility. Please refer to the Product Specifications on the product page to see if an item is eligible for standard shipping.
Delivery Time
All products displayed online are in stock at The Vintage Atelier, unless explicitly stated otherwise (e.g., pre-orders).
We strive to process and dispatch your order within 3-5 business days. In most cases, once your package leaves our warehouse, it will be delivered the next working day.
TRACK & TRACE
Every order from The Vintage Atelier includes a Track & Trace code. Once your package has been handed over to our carrier, you will receive an email containing a direct link. You can use this link to check the real-time status of your delivery at any time.
CHANGE OF ADDRESS
Once an order has been placed, it is not possible to modify your address details manually in your account.
If you need to change the delivery address, please contact us immediately. Please be aware that we can only adjust the address if your order has not yet been dispatched.
In many cases, you can use the PostNL app or website to change the delivery time or location once you receive your tracking mail (excluding changes to pick-up points). If an order is returned to us due to incorrect address details provided by the customer, we will refund the item costs minus the initial shipping fees.
UNCLAIMED PACKAGES
If your package was delivered to a service point and was not collected within the required timeframe, it will be automatically returned to our warehouse.
Upon receipt of the returned package, we will process a refund for the items. Please note that the original shipping costs will be deducted from this refund.
